Facilities and resources

Our school offers a range of spaces, tools and resources to support student learning. Whether it’s for study, sport, creativity or technology, our learning environments and resources give students what they need to succeed.

Our school facilities

We offer a range of learning environments. They help students stay engaged, build confidence and enjoy every part of their school day. Our facilities may include:

Resources and technology

Our school uses modern technology and digital learning tools. Our resources help students learn, create and stay connected. As a NSW public school, we have access to shared programs and tools available to all schools in the state.

All classrooms in Stages 1 - 3 (Years 1 - 6) at Birrong Public School have a classroom set of chrome books for one-between-two, and shared access with another classroom to allow one-to-one computers.

In addition students have access to iPads, Bee Bots, Lego Mindstorms (robotics) and a variety of Technology For Learning kits that the Department of Education loans to schools on a term-by-term basis. These kits include whole class access to 3D printing, aeroponics, virtual coding, film making and podcasting, inventor and tablet robotics, with new and updated kits being released regularly.
